May 2011

I very happy and fortunate to report that my work has been accepted through a jury process into three major exhibitions.

"Light Landing", (shown above) one of my newest prints, featuring an indigo bunting will be part of the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum's exhibition "Birds in Art" which opens September 10, 2011 in Wausau, Wisconsin.  This is an international show and highly competitive.  Out of 957 entries this year, only 112 were selected for the exhibition.  Catalogs of the show will be available and a national tour of selected works from the show will be held at various locations during the year. You can see the image of this painting below, in the New Giclee Prints section. ORIGINAL SOLD.

My painting of two caribou bulls called "Caribou Crossing" will be offered for sale and on display at the Bennington Center for the Arts in Bennington, Vermont during their exhibition "Art of the Animal Kingdom XVI" which opens June 11, 2011.  This painting is based on my canoe expedition through Quebec and Newfoundland in 2009. Original painting is available.
